HAUZ KHAS VILLAGE – DELHI

Hello loves! Hope you had good days and pink life! I was all over the place last week, keeping up with work can get a lot sometimes. But I finally found time to sit down and write this post.So coming on to Hauz khas village, one of the most ‘happening’ place in Delhi and every delhiite thought the same as i do.This place is all about food, drinks, shop and art. The streets are crumbling and the wires overhead are irreversibly tangled. New Delhi’s historic Hauz Khas Village (HKV) may be a bit scruffy at the edges, but there’s no funkier spot in the capital to shop, eat and generally enjoy the vibe. HKV is very vibrant and colorful place, it have a manicured park, historic fort, Madrasa, Mosque, Tomb, lake, designer stores and a numerous restaurants, cafe and clubs.

Hauz khas village is a heart throbbing place. In the last four years musicians, designers, travelers, foodies, readers of journals and little books, art and poster-collectors, map makers, social activists and other communities have set up homes and shops here. You can walk around the fort and the lake, and also walk in the village, there are colorful graffiti walls, nice chic boutiques where you can shop.Prominent photographers, celebrities, famous artists and musicians came here to seek enlightenment.

The area is quite expensive as the Indian upper class and affluent tourists go there. But it is still nice to have an area like that, especially if you are exhausted ! There are also many good restaurants, with food from all the world : Asian, Italian and Indian. There are good cafes all around, you can eat on the terrace or in cute little balcony too, there is a beautiful view of the lake and  the food is excellent. In Hauz Khas Village you can find bars and clubs to go out during the night! I’d been to the most famous cafes and restaurants and you should also try them. At last this place have everything to flaunt and it leaves you speechless.

HKV is the place where you will spend money and it will make you richer as you will gather countless memories.

So buddies, travel and take care❤️

Lustrous Mcleodganj✨

It’s not mountains we conquer; but ourselves!

Glittery mountains of Dharamsala

I personally love mountains and hill stations. I climb mountains so that i can see the world. As problems are sent to be solved, Mountains are created to be conquered.

On frosty night of December i departed for Mcleodganj also known as “Dalai lama’s home” or “mini-Tibet”. Mcleodganj is located above ‘Dharamsala’ in shadow of mighty Dhauladars, Himachal Pradesh. It was my road trip. My favorite kind of trips are road trips, I enjoy every single juncture and carry less baggage. Dharamsala was 494 kilometers from here and it took around 10 hours to land up there and i immensely fell in love with that way. It was the way at which my family spend time together and we annoyed each other yet enjoyed that at interesting new place.

Those vast, calm, measureless mountain days were inciting at once to work and rest.

Expedition to Mcleodganj was most rewarding form of introspection of my life. It is a mystical place as it is Dalai lama’s home.On very first day i drop round to see Bhagsunag temple and waterfall, there was tranquility on the horizon. On the same day i had a glimpse of Kalchakra temple and Mc’llo local market, after that i began to realise Mcleodganj was bijou place, the roads were very congested, packed full of cars and people, but the location was preternatural. On very next day, it was Christmas and i was contented and excited for eve. On very same day i got off to St.John of Wilderness, a renown and secluded church, Namgyal monastery, Dalai lama temple and  Himachal Pradesh Cricket stadium. And if i talk about food, momo’s from the womens on street are to die for. A must visit spot is Jimmy’s Italian, it had pretty good food (vodka penne and pizza) as well as decent WiFi and cute little balcony to relish the outside view.

Mcleodganj is perfect destination where backpackers from all parts of the world come to find entertainment and enlightenment. I love to take in true flavor of the place i am visiting, love being close to it as possible. My travel to Mcleodganj was as local & authentic as possible.

There is no greater joy than to have endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

So folks travel! Adieu and take care.

Offbeat Goa🌴

“I want to breathe other air, taste other food, speak other language so that everywhere becomes home.”

Blissful monsoon of Goa

I departed for Goa in morning and arrived there by mid-afternoon. On a rainy Goan afternoon my flight landed there, and there was humidity in it’s air.I with my parents were waiting for taxi, in between 7 to 8 minutes one dark complexion man came sprinting with two umbrellas in his hands. He apologized, he was driver, then we go off for hotel. On the way to our hotel i noticed prepossessing nature of Goa, islands were covered in mangrove and mist-laden meadows, adorned with old Portuguese colorful homes, tiny population of people and heavenly beaches. All that was irresistible.Till then we arrived hotel and that was so artistic. It was kind of ancestral Goan-Portuguese house named Aldeia santa rita. Best part was that there was Candolim beach at the back of out hotel, it was breathtaking scene.

I traveled Goa in monsoons so it was ‘off-season’, as Goan people said so. But for me it was matter of bliss.I spent 4 graceful days discovering Goa and that was amazing experience. In next three days i visited it’s famous beaches namely Candolim beach, Baga beach, Chapora beach, Calangute beach and Vagator beach and it’s main attractions namely Aguada fort, Chapora fort, Anjuna market, Panjim, Old Goa, Seeds nursery. And the surpassing and pleasing part was Goan churches namely Basilica of Bom Jesus, St.Francis of Assisi, our Lady of Immaculate conception. These places are very alluring.I hopelessly fell in love with Goa.

It took me a while to realize that this place is magical. People take leave and depart for goa. Sometimes all you need is beer, sea food and prepossessing peaceful location- GOA💕. Why is it so difficult to think of Goa beyond its beaches? Even when I were to close my eyes a month back and think of Goa I too would think of beaches – pristine blue with golden sand and perhaps a bottle of Goa’s favorite chilled beer. But beyond beaches and beer this place is marvelous.Just once think beyond that, imagine walking in lane of colorful Portuguese houses and chatter to Goan happy people. The old charm of Goa is not lost, not yet.It lives on the areas away from overcrowded beaches, shout of drunk man and unlimited bottles of beer thrown around.Discover Goa beyond beaches and parties. You will learn something new. This place taught me to be independent and happy in every situation. It’s a great place✨

The best lessons  in life don’t come from books, but from muddy boots, a full camera memory, quaint locations and from watching sun disappear into horizon of land whose language is unknown, but soul is pure.
